Three Rules
Installing Sakkho® wooden tiles is simple and similar to working with any other similar piece of timber; however, when installing Sakkho wooden tiles, follow 3 principles or rules:
Rule 1: The Correct Tile Base
Rule 2: Support the Centre
Rule 3: Fixing Spots Vary
Rule 1: Standard or Reinforced Base
Sakkho® wooden tiles are usually presented with a standard or reinforced base. It is important to select a tile model with the correct base for the intended usage. For more details on each tile model base, visit our Products page or click here

Rule 2: Support the Centre
For safe decking, flooring or seating usages, the center, edges and all corners (including corners of modified tiles) must always be fully supported. For more specific details on using Sakkho tiles on battens visit the Batten and Joists page or to find out how to use Sakkho tiles for decking, click here
Rule 3: Fixing Spots Vary
The most common option for a permanent and solid installation would be to use screws, nails or a nail gun. The space between slats composing the tiles varies with different models and fasteners and the preferred installation option must be selected accordingly.
